About Us

The business is run by 3 professional women who have backgrounds in Practice Management, Book Keeping and Sales & Marketing. Due to this wealth of skills, we are able to provide our Consultants with an efficient and effective Invoice and Collection service - which leaves them the time to concentrate on patient care.

MediAccounts has been established since 2011 and has worked with an array of Consultants over that time. Our growth is down to word of mouth and recommendations from our Consultants. Our impeccable service and professional manner means that MediAccounts has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years.

Ellie Blacher, Director

Ellie graduated from UMIST after studying Management Sciences BSc in 1997. She worked as an Account Director for various direct marketing agencies before retraining as a book-keeper. Since then she has worked for a variety of SME clients with tasks including preparing management accounts, payroll and VAT returns. Mediaccounts brings together all of Ellie's skills and experience.  Consultants are drawn to her professional and well organised approach when running their private practice.  

Ellie likes nothing more than spending time with her husband David and children Jaimee and Molly and walking her beloved dog Lexi!

Martine Reuben, Director

Martine graduated from Birmingham University and forged a career in Public Relations and Sales & Marketing.  Her experience spans a variety of industry’s from  5* deluxe hotel chains to literary awards.  Coming from a family full of doctors, Martine is passionate that Consultants deserve to be paid promptly and fully.  She is delighted to be a part of MediAccounts and to spearhead all Sales and Marketing & PR activities.

 

Martine loves the theatre, playing the piano and spending time with her husband Darren and her two children Ella and Paige.

Tracey Dunn, Director

Tracey Graduated from City of Westminster University after studying Business Management and started her career at Marks & Spencer as a buyer. After starting a family, Tracey began working for a Consultant as a Private Practice Manager, looking after all aspects of Billing and Collection. By 2011, the business evolved and together with her two business partners, Ellie Blacher and Martine Reuben, MediAccounts was born. Tracey has an extensive knowledge of private medical practice billing and her reputation as efficient, reliable and professional is the basis for MediAccounts success. Together with the skills of Ellie and Martine, MediAccounts provides an all-round service where the aim is to exceed the consultants expectations in every way.

Tracey loves working, but also enjoys spending quality time with her husband Stephen, and her two children Olivia and Raffi and her dog, Roxy

Dave Hurren, Insurance Specialist

Dave comes to MediAccounts with over 6 years' experience in Medical Billing and vast experience in credit control. In his free time Dave loves spending time with his wife and children.

Michelle Williamson, Administrator, Payments & Reconciliation

Michelle has been working in accounts and administration for many years and brings an array of experience to the MediAccounts team. When she is not reconciling payments for the MediAccounts doctors, she is spending time with her husband and 2 children.

Nicole Josephs, Administrator

Nicole comes from an office administrator background and has worked in medical billing for the past 2 years. Nicole loves spending time with her husband and 3 children.

Sam Ali, Credit Control

With a background in credit control, Sam brings huge expertise in this area to the MediAccounts Team. In his free time Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Viv Tibber, Administrator and Credit Control

Viv has worked for many years in administration, customer services and accounts. Viv enjoys a spot of pilates, cooking and keeps fit by running around after her 3 children.

Marion Secker, Administrator

With over 25 years’ experience in accounts and payments within a London borough council, Marion bring a huge wealth of knowledge and experience to the MediAccounts team. When she is not working, Marion enjoys spending time with her family.

Naina Clayton, Administrator & Credit Control

Naina came to us with years of administration and customer service experience. Her high level of service and attention to detail is a huge asset to the MediAccounts team. In her free time, Naina is a keen ‘comper’ (competition enthusiast) and has won many prizes from vouchers to theme park passes. Naina has a son who keep her very busy!

Karin King, Medical billing Administrator and coordinator

With a background in medical administration, Karin brings a wealth of experience to her fundamental role of coordinating all the incoming billing here at MediAccounts. With a keen interest in healthy living, Karin is also creative and enjoys sewing. Karin is happiest when enjoying the great outdoors with her family.

Lisa Allen, Administrator

Lisa’s previous experience in accounts, administration and customer service is a perfect fit for her role at MediAccounts. Patients love her warm and friendly approach and she always on hand to go that extra mile for a doctor or a patient. When she is not working, Lisa is a busy mum of 2 boys Harry and Louis and enjoys spending time at the gym and doing a spot of shopping.

Lexi, Head of Security

Lexi is a rescue dog with a wonderful personality and zest for life. She loves chasing birds, going on long walks and sleeping in the corner of the MediAccounts office.
